Lodging & Camping

You will be charmed by the skilled craftsmanship of stone and wood throughout Herndon J. Evans Lodge. Each of the 30 rooms has a private patio or balcony to enjoy mountain views. Open year-round. AAA 3 - Diamond rating. Rooms are available by late afternoon. Lodge room check-out by 11:00am, local time. A limited number of lodge rooms and cottages will be available for pets. Mountain View Restaurant
The atmosphere of the restaurant is one of engaging serenity and gentle seclusion. Seating is available for 125 people with good viewing from every location. A private dining area seats 25 people. With a new menu and a wider variety of items, you will enjoy your meal while overlooking spectacular mountain scenery. Views of the mountains change throughout the day - from breakfast with mist-shrouded peaks to dinner with spectacular sunsets. As a supporter of Kentucky Proud program we utilize locally grown meats and produce when available.

Lunch - 11:30am to 3:00pm
