Looking for state park lodging near Land Between the Lakes? If you want to spend a night or two at Lake Barkley, cabins and campgrounds aren’t your only choices. World-class Lake Barkley lodge, designed by Edward Durell Stone, seems to have just emerged naturally from the wooded shoreline that surrounds it. Using a post-and-beam wood construction of Western Cedar, Douglas fir, and three-and one-half acres of glass, the recently renovated Barkley Lodge complex provides a lake view from the private balconies of most of the 120 rooms and four suites. Open year-round. Rooms available by late afternoon. Lodge room check-out by 11:00am, local time. A limited number of lodge rooms will be available for pets. This glass walled 331 seat restaurant allows guests to have panoramic and scenic views from any seat in the house.

Lake Barkley Marina has some of the largest house and fishing boats in all of Lake Barkley. They offer a wide variety of services to fit any recreational or professional activity.

Coming to Lake Barkley in Cadiz? A 4,800 ft. paved, lighted airstrip is located three miles from the lodge. Aviation fuel not available.
Update - Effective 7:00am Monday, October 15, 2012 Lake Barkley Airport will be closed until December 13, 2012 to complete a $1,000,000.00 runway resurfacing project.
