Located in the northeast “end” of Louisville, this urban park is a refuge from the fast-paced life of a busy city. The Sawyer Hayes Community Center was built in 2009.
Its natural stone and woodsy exterior is in harmony with the natural landscaping that flourishes throughout the park.
The interior continues the theme of natural beauty with the welcoming Hearth Room featuring a large fireplace encased in Brazilian marble and stone brick, stone flooring from Italy and exposed beams. The floor-to-ceiling windows and organic color palette of the Woodlands and Persimmon rooms give the illusion that you have immersed yourself in the woods.

E. P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park is now offering teambuilding programs for your corporate, school, civic, church, or scout group. Teambuilding is an excellent way to improve teamwork skills, gain self esteem, reduce stress, and have fun with your group.

Hey kids! Celebrate your big day with us! We offer three different birthday parties to suit everyone. All parties are overseen by a Personal Party Planner to ensure that all you have to do is enjoy the fun! Birthday parties are only available Memorial Day through Labor Day.
