Rough River State Resort Park
The 9-hole "Rough River Dam" course at the Rough River Dam State Resort Park Golf Course facility in Falls of Rough, Kentucky features 1,389 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 27. Rough River Dam golf course opened in 1974.
This predominantly hilly course does have some flat fairways. The wide fairways are tree lined, and the large greens putt true. There are no sand bunkers or water hazards in play on the course. The signature hole is #4, a 158-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot from off an elevated tee that must carry a ditch before reaching the elevated green.
One of the finest par 3 courses in the Kentucky State Parks system, offering a golf shop, club rental, golf car rental, putting green, dining room, and lodging.

Grayson's Landing Restaurant
Enjoy the panoramic views from our dining room and satisfy your dining pleasure with a variety of daily specials. Chef Connell offers diversified menus from KY country ham to our scrumptious catfish. Throughout the year, we offer special themed dining. As a supporter of Kentucky Proud program we utilize locally grown meats and produce when available. The only thing we overlook is the lake!
Meeting Facilities
Three Meeting Rooms: Grayson, Breckinridge, and Terrace.
Up to 4000 square feet of Meeting Space. Rental includes a wide variety of AV equipment (LCD projector is the only equipment that has a stand alone rental fee).
3 Outdoor Rentals: Beach-side shelter, Gazebo, or Tent.
Air Camp & Airport
Aviators can pitch a tent and camp near their aircraft at the airport air camp. The air camp has a central service building with showers and rest rooms. Open year-round. Rate $8.50 per night. No advance reservations.The park has a 3,200 foot paved and lit airstrip with tie downs and aviation fuel available.

The resort is on KY 79. From the Western Kentucky Parkway, exit on KY 79 north from Caneyville or exit on KY 259 N at Leitchfield and travel to the park via KY 54 from Leitchfield. Driving south, take KY 79 south from Hardinsburg and US 60.
Rough River Dam Lodge
Beautiful lake views enhance the appeal of Rough River Dam Lodge. Each of the 40 rooms features private patios or balconies and overlook the lake. Open year-round. Rooms are available by late afternoon. Check-out by noon, Central Time. Pets are not allowed.
Cottages
For secluded comfort, relax in a cozy cottage. Seventeen two-bedroom cottages are located in wooded areas near the lake. Tableware, cooking utensils, and linens are provided with fresh linens available daily. Open year-round. Cottages are available by late afternoon. Check-out by 11:00 AM, Central Time. Pets are not allowed.
