For secluded comfort, relax in a cozy cottage. Seventeen two-bedroom cottages are located in wooded areas near the lake. Tableware, cooking utensils, and linens are provided.

Enjoy the panoramic views from our dining room and satisfy your dining pleasure with a variety of daily specials. Chef Connell offers diversified menus from KY country ham to our scrumptious catfish. Throughout the year, we offer special themed dining. As a supporter of Kentucky Proud program we utilize locally grown meats and produce when available. The only thing we overlook is the lake!
Enjoy the unspoiled beauty surrounding a 64-site campground, next to Rough River. Utility hookups, a dump station, and a central service building with showers and rest rooms are available. Pets are allowed if restrained. Closed for season from mid-November to mid-March.
Aviators can pitch a tent and camp near their aircraft at the airport air camp. The air camp has a central service building with showers and rest rooms. Open year-round. Rate $8.50 per night. No advance reservations.
The park has a 3,200 foot paved and lit airstrip with tie downs. Aviation fuel not available.
Miniature Golf
A beautiful miniature 18-hole golf course provides family entertainment. Seasonal.

Recreational Activities
Meet your opponent on the court for a game of tennis, shuffleboard, or volleyball. A volleyball court and three tennis courts are near the beach; one tennis court is lighted. Two tennis courts and a volleyball court are located in the camping area. Shuffleboard courts are located on the lodge patio, and a sand volleyball court is located at the beach. Sports equipment is available for check out.
Planned Recreation
Daily summer activities and year-round special events are planned for children and adults under the guidance of a trained recreation director.
Picnicking & Playgrounds
Perfect picnic outings are in store at Rough River Dam. Tables, grills, and playgrounds are located throughout the park and a picnic shelter near the beach is available for rental up to three years in advance.

The gift shop features a large selection of Kentucky handcrafts and souvenirs.
Rough River Lake is the perfect location for the water sports enthusiast. The marina offers 121 open slips, 29 open houseboat slips, 48 covered slips, a launching ramp, and rental pontoon boats. Open May to October. Call for fees.
Lady Of the Lake Boat Tours: Up to 30 people capacity. Price on our daily tours is $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids. Available to rent by the hour for private business groups or families.
The avid angler will delight in the abundance of largemouth, white, and Kentucky bass, bluegill, channel catfish, crappie, and rough fish.
The nine-hole, par-three course by the lake provides the golfer a challenging game as well as beautiful scenery. A driving range is available to practice the long drive. A one-mile nature trail follows the lake shoreline, and links the lodge, marina and cottage areas. The Army Corps of Engineers maintain a self-guided interpretive trail on federal land adjacent to the park.
A pool is available for lodge and cottage guests. Or enjoy the gentle waves of Rough River Lake on the public beach, serviced with a bathhouse. Seasonal.
