You’re Invited to Greenbo Lake State Resort Park

On behalf of our staff, welcome to Greenbo Lake State Resort Park and Greenup County. Thank you for considering our resort as your meeting; a destination to relax, visit with co-workers and peers. When considering your upcoming meeting, we encourage you to experience our facilities to the fullest.

Excellent meeting facilities (2,880 square feet) are surrounded by unique hiking trails, abundant wildlife and an excellent array of recreational activities. This flexible meeting facility can be used as one large space or divided into three sections for your needs.

Join us in the restaurant for a wonderful meal of regional favorites. Take a swim in our pool or stroll down by the lake. Perhaps some quiet reflections as the sun sets while strolling one of our trails. No matter what you choose to do, we hope to provide everyone in your meeting with a unique memory of our resort.

A Quick Peek

36 Lodge Rooms: 32 rooms with 2 double beds, 4 handicapped accessible rooms with 1 queen bed , & chair that makes a single bed.

Lodge rooms are complete with hair dryers, irons & ironing boards, coffee-maker, television, reading chair, all-purpose table, dresser and night stand. Amenities include: soap, shampoo & John Conti Bluegrass Blend Coffee.

Pets are not allowed (with the exception of service dogs).

Meeting Rooms

Three Meeting Rooms. A total of 2,880 square feet. Use the space as one large meeting room or separate into three potential sections. Each of the sections is 960 square feet. This conference area includes a large foyer perfect for registration or milling around for participants.

Breakouts

Use one of the sections of the conference center, the amphitheatre or even a pontoon boat. Your attendees will never forget this meeting.

Amphitheatre

Enjoy our new amphitheatre constructed in 2006 seats 500.

Our newly renovated restaurant, Angler’s Cove will mesmerize guests with its soothing décor and dazzling dishes. Experience the finest in courteous service and Kentucky cuisine in this 232-seat restaurant. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily. The restaurant is located on the lower level of the lodge

Our recreation staff can customize teambuilding activities for your organization based on the goals you would like for your employees to achieve. These activities are fun and exciting for the employees, yet develop cohesiveness within the group. Some examples are:

  • Survivor Challenges
  • Group Photo Scavenger Hunts
  • Campfire Programs 
  • A variety of other fun activities.

Icebreakers

Icebreakers are short 5-10 minute activities that give your employees a fun break during a long day of business meetings. These fun activities are a great way to “break the ice” within the group and encourage more participation throughout the day.

Planned Recreation Activities

Our recreation staff can plan “downtime” for your employees. They can schedule live entertainment, campfire programs, group hikes, the possibilities are almost endless.

High Speed Wireless Internet & Cell Phone Service

  • Wireless service is available in lodge rooms.
  • Cell service has just been improved. We can pick up signal for Alltel and Verizon.
