What's New?
- Please be careful while traveling through the park due to some areas of the park being “UNDER CONSTRUCTION”. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but it will make your future visits with us so much more enjoyable!
- Miniature Golf Course: Behind the campground store construction is underway to build our 18-hole miniature golf course!!! Make plans to visit in summer 2008 to test your putting skills.
- Primitive Cabins: The campground has also added six new primitive cabins that will be available to rent summer 2008.
Program Updates
Spring has arrived! Spring flowers are sprouting up everywhere and the landscape becomes greener every day. Enjoy a hike along one of our many trails to look for them. Also make plans to attend our Campers Appreciation Weekend where you can camp two nights for the price of one!
If you are planning a birthday party, family reunion, wedding, or any other group event that you would like to have planned activities scheduled such as team building or games, just let us know. We will provide you with activities to suit your event led by one of our trained recreation staff. Call for details.
TEACHERS TAKE NOTICE!!! For teachers, we offer educational activities and games designed for your specific age group and subject of study. Call for details.
Geocache
We have a few permanent caches on our park for those of you who want to add more to your list. Use your personal GPS to find these hidden treasures. If you want to know more about this new adventure sport/hobby contact the recreation office.
Lake Cumberland and Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park will be hosting a Geocache Weekend on April 18-20, 2008. If you are interested in learning about this sport then make your reservations now.
Fishing Pole Rentals
Do you want to go fishing but forgot your fishing pole? That’s okay, just come to the recreation office and we’ll let you borrow one of ours.
Cave Tours
Enjoy the wonders of Cindy Cave during one of our guided tours or on your own. Cindy cave offers an experience you won’t soon forget with formations, crickets, bats, crayfish, and salamanders for viewing. If going on your own, you must check in with the front desk before entering to receive a permit. Upon exiting the cave, please return permit to the front desk.
Trail Information
Make plans to visit and view our beautiful scenery throughout the park. Hike, bike, or ride your horse along our 15 miles of trails. Please be careful while hiking along the trails due to several areas of construction going on throughout the park. We are in the process of blazing our trails. Please be patient through this process, and be sure to pick up a map at the lodge before starting your hike.
