Fort Boonesborough State ParkWhen Daniel Boone and his men reached the Kentucky River on April 1, 1775, they quickly moved to establish Kentucky's second settlement--the site still known as Fort Boonesborough.

Fort Boonesborough is located near Richmond Kentucky. From I-75, take exit 95 to KY 627. On I-64, exit at Winchester to KY 627.
