Group Field Trips

Big Bone Lick State Park offers a wide array of programs dealing with pioneers, animals, history, Native Americans, plants, fossils and nature hikes in the Northern Kentucky region for grades k-12. We also offer Prehistoric survival skills classes and demonstrations for grades 6-12. Tours of our museum showcasing Pleistocene (ice age) mammals is available. The park is open year-round and classes can visit any day of the week by appointment. The fees are $3 per student. Call Naturalist/Anthropologist Todd Young at 859-384-3522 for more information.
