Group Field Trips

The Wickliffe Mounds State Historic Site offers tours of an archaeological site and museum of a Native American village of the Mississippian culture. Activity stations in the museum provide hands-on experiences for students. Programs about Mississippian culture and the science of archaeology are available for small groups, suitable for grades K-12.

Archaeology trail, WoodsWalk trail and picnic area is available. The park is open year-round and teachers should call to schedule a time for their classes to visit.

Fees range from $2 to $3 per student. Call 270-335-3681 for information.
